Minneso-tah!

Every year my gal pal and I head out into the wilderness, set up our tents and relax by the fire. This year we decided canoe on the St. Croix river in Minnesota. Our journey ended up being 20 miles of breathtaking scenery that is only accessible by boat. I wanted to share some of the pictures I snapped along the way! Thanks again Jessie. I am already looking forward to next year's trip!

Senior Season!

Long time no post! July has been such a crazy month with sessions and traveling. But then again, summers are usually pretty hectic for most families scrambling to fit everything in before school supplies hits the store shelf. I wanted to share with you my latest senior session. Thanks to the Rose Theater in downtown Omaha for providing us with the beautiful backdrops for this session!

Hello Florida :)

I have kept in contact with several families from Florida since I have moved back to the Midwest. I am able to visit the sunshine state once a twice a year and in doing so I have the opportunity to meet up with my "Florida families" :)

I am so blessed this beautiful family was willing to take a chance on me while I was in college. I met Theresa in Target...(imagine that lol). Most of the time when I approached people to take pictures of their children people often thought I had lost my marbles...especially when I told them there was absolutely no charge. After further explaining to Theresa I was a photography student and gave her my website she contacted me within a couple days. I was so glad she did!

A year later we were able to meet up for a session and I was thrilled to see the kids again! What a difference a year makes!

Papillion Days!

I must admit for my first Papillion days ever, it was so much fun! I had a wonderful time this past weekend. The amazing women at the Town and Country Humane Society spent Saturday morning at the studio. We had one successful adoption and hopefully many more to come by raising awareness about Town and Country's no kill shelter. The kids enjoyed my mama's homemade cookies and of course lots of puppy love!
