Paisley

After 2 days of scouting locations for Miss Paisley's photo shoot, I was so happy to stumble upon this gorgeous tree line right here in Papillion! Sunshine and a slight breeze made for a fabulous shoot. {Despite the mud and wet grass ;)} While Paisley's hair danced in the wind, she had fun playing peek-a-boo, blowing kisses and singing songs in the field; shoot...we both did! :)

Madison

Looking at Madison's senior pictures...you would never guess that just 7 months ago this beautiful 17 year old girl was hospitalized for 40 days. Madison was in a horrible car accident which left doctors wondering if she would ever walk again. As a senior in high school I can't imagine the thoughts that went through this track star's mind...scholarships, prom, visits to potential colleges. But that didn't stop her. After months of rehab, Madison was able to participate in track this spring and came close to breaking her personal record.

When her mama came to the studio asking about a senior session I was delighted to inform her of May's studio special. I didn't realize that Madison is the class of 2011. Either way it wouldn't have mattered but after hearing Madison's story my heart ached a little to relive the moments when my own baby sister was in a horrible car accident that put her in a wheel chair for a whole summer. I could see the pride in her mother's eyes as they teared up and knew I needed to do this not only for Madison but her whole family. It took some juggling but we managed to pull off the session and prints will be here before her big graduation party this coming Sunday!

Congratulations Madison! I wish you the best of luck with all your endeavors!

Heaven knows with your determination ... you can do anything ;)

OPLOVE

This little cutie absolutely melted my heart. Miss Hannah is Mommy's little helper while her daddy is away at war. Hannah could very well be the happiest 3 year old I have ever met. Her smile was contagious as we captured these wonderful moments for her father. OPLOVE sessions are always bitter-sweet and my heart always goes out to the deployed families. I can relate to these families and understand the hardships they are going through while their loved one (s) are away... Shoot, I still get teary eyed when I hear our nation's anthem. I am beyond grateful that I am able to participate in OPLOVE. To all of our military and their families.....

~ Thank You ~

Olivia!

This beautiful baby girl is so gorgeous! Just look at those baby blues! Olivia is such a happy baby! I loved watching her take it all in as 3 of her 7 siblings filled the air with laughter, giggles and the sound of pitter patter on the hard wood floors. It was such a warming feeling to observe the dynamic relationship each one of the siblings had with one another. How their interaction with one another created their own individual expresses. I have some fantastic shots of each one of them but I had to get some sneak peeks on the blog and Olivia was first! Enjoy!
